Growth was creating more work than the team could manage.

The Market Folk had built a community of stallholders, a loyal following and markets full of beautiful products. Multiple venues were reaching out—but the opportunities were bigger than the team could manage.

Applications, curation, invoices, communications and event logistics were being managed manually. More markets meant more of everything.

Map the process before changing it.

We mapped the full journey from stallholder application to market day, looking at where it broke down and what it already did well. A faster system that damaged the experience would simply create different problems.

Define what the solution needs to do.

We built a requirements list from both the stallholder and organiser perspective. It needed to handle payments, communications, profiles, event requirements and a clear dashboard—without a custom-build budget or specialist technical skills.

Test it against real work.

Before committing, we set up a trial environment and tested the platform against the actual process. Then we translated the existing workflow into the new system, from applications and bookings to payments and event communications.

“It was a game-changer for The Market Folk and it empowered us to grow significantly. ”
— Sarah Malengret, Owner
